Discussing your research with other scientists in your field might be easy, but the situation changes when your audience is not familiar with many of the terms.
Blogging can be very useful for researchers: not only does it help improve your writing skills, but it also increases your visibility for the general audience and journalists.

 During this interactive workshop, we will discuss the importance of Science Communication and Science Outreach. We will go through the available platforms and targeting groups. After this, we will focus on writing or blogging about your research for broad audiences and discuss which topics and themes you can blog about. Finally, we will look into writing strategies, practice writing the outline of a blog post, and discuss practical issues involved in blogging.
